ABOUT US
OUR BIOGRAPHY
OUR BIOGRAPHY
The 4X4HQ club station was established 60 years ago and was operated from different places in Tel Aviv, Israel.
After about 20 years of inactivity, we re-established it at the Ironi Dalet High School in Tel Aviv.
About 30 students, aged 13-16 take part in the station's activities.
Currently, the students at the club are studying for the Ministry of Communications' exam to get their licenses. They are looking forward to talking with you in the future, using their own call signs.

14MHz AND 7MHz DIPLOE ANTENNAS

OUR ANTENNAS
The dipole antenna or dipole aerial is one of the most important and commonly used types of RF antennas.
The dipole aerial/antenna is widely used on its own, but it is also incorporated into many other RF antenna designs, where it forms the radiating or driven element for the overall antenna.
The dipole is a simple antenna to construct and an even simpler one to use, and many of the calculations are quite straightforward. However, like all other antennas, the in-depth calculations are considerably more complicated. Learn more >
